My Personal Farmers Market

This year I have an over abundance of vegetables (and sunflowers!) in my garden. I have jalapenos and tomatoes growing out my ears! Seeing as I have way too many veggies to eat with my family alone, I decided to set up a little stand in front of my house to sell some! I had quite a large variety of veggies, and I thought all the colors looked so lovely together together. I put all of my produce on a cherry-covered tablecloth (which I thought made my stand look very authentic and country!), made some little baskets of out paper plates, set up a few signs, and opened my Farmers Market!
It was pretty slow business at first, but by the end I made a good chunk of change; so worth the time! :) I also reduced my vegetable count by quite a bit, which was the main goal. I had a lot of fun at my personal Farmers Market, and I might do it again soon! (I still have more veggies growing, haha! x)

Does anybody else have a garden? What do you grow?

The Liebster Award

After having been nominated for the Liebster Award about 4 times, I have finally taken some time to figure out what it is all about. At first I thought it was just some odd scam or promotion, but after reading some blog posts about it I fell in love with the idea! I believe The Liebster Award is a great way to get to know your fellow bloggers, and I would love to thank Sarah for my most recent nomination. x Hope to get to know you better!

A Disassembled Bouquet of Wildflowers

Hi again, internet! I just got home from a week-long road trip/camping adventure with my family in Glacier National Park and Yellowstone. I was without social media for the whole trip and I was pleasantly surprised to discover that I didn't miss social media at all. It actually felt like a chore having to come home and scroll through endless Instagram pictures. This trip kinda opened my eyes to what's really important in life; It's not money or fame or how many likes that you get on a picture that keep you alive, or that matter at all, it's family and love and nature. So please, grab a cuppa tea, kick off your shoes and take some time to view nature and reflect on life. Here's some pictures of wildflowers I took on my trip to get you started. xx

Summertime Flowers and Honeybees

A few days ago I was biking the back roads with one of my best friends and we came across this adorable field of purple flowers! I snapped a couple pictures of some bees flying around....being very careful not to get to close. (I've gone 2 years without a bee sting- not going to mess it up now!)

I'm going on vacation to Canada with my family tomorrow and I am so ready to get away from technology for a week or so! I love being connected to everything, but sometimes you just need a break. Have any of you ever been to the Glacier National Park/Canada area? Any place in particular we should check out? :)

I hope you enjoyed this little photography oriented post!
